Unreasonable bus fare

Hi guys, been so long since I last posted an article on my blog, was a bit dormant as yash said lol.
In fact, one saturday when yashvin was dropping me home, he just asked me where normally I take bus to go to Palma after work.
Later, he asked me an interesting question : ” Combien payer from this bus stop to palma?” meaning how much I pay from this bus stop to my destination!
The answer was ” Rs 14″.
A bit further he saw the bus stop at La Louise near the Taxi stand, which is not far from the Paloma Bus stop,hmmm, maybe 5 mins la marche or moins!
Yash asked me again ” Kifer to pa pran bus ici?”
The reason was due to the large number of passengers waiting and secondly because, I don’t like to stand in buses specially if I have laptop or anything else in hand. TVR, he again asked me how much it costs to take bus from la louise to palma?
The answer was Rs 8.
He was shocked..lol.
Y this Rs6 difference between these 2 bus stops?
Ok, you will say that the Bus stop at Paloma is in quatre bornes and zat of la louise bus stop is in palma road.
Nops, not really! Paloma and La louise is not far from each ozer, so y should we pay more?
Another example is, when u take bus to go qb and the same bus to go la louise…here the bus fare is the same..meaning Rs 24 in CNT buses and Rs29 in blue lines.
I just can’t understand the logic behind this!
Do you also face such cases in your locality? Or is this only in Qb?
Palma Humps back on the road again
Another news concerning the road going to Flic en Flac beach…meaning palma road to Flic, is that all the humps which were removed during the arrival of the chinese president were not replaced..meaning only a few of them were found until now…
so aret plaigner now ki ena bocu obstacles dan chemin palma lol…specially twa yash

In fact, as from the day, I leave an additional of rs6 with her when I leave her on the bus stop
Yeah there’s absolutely no logic behind these fares. In my region, to go to goodlands I pay Rs12, which is a merely 5 minutes travel but to go to Port Louis, which is a 1hour travel, I pay Rs14.
I don’t understand how they compute the fares. :S

Indeed, me too don’t really grasp the logic of this big price diferrences. At my place also, the bus stops are less than 200m but yet the price difference is quite significant. I’ve even noticed many travellers getting down on the bus stop nearer to my home and walk to the other one just to save on the tickets.
Remarquer que C peut etre pas oci mal ke sa et que les gens font un peut plus d’exercices. At my place the distance bet bus stops isn’t huge but it’s pitiful for those who live in places where one bustop is very from the 2nd one.

U are rite dhaneesha, i used to take the bus at paloma n la louise! u stay at palma but if i take the bus from paloma to my place only 2 bus stop la louise and at manick it’s the same price as you pay to palma! unreasonable fare rite!

Prix biz sanze lor staz. Si to pran bis lor stage 1 ek to p desann lor enn bistop ki lor staz 1. To paye 8.00. Si to desann lor enn bistop ki staz 2 to paye 14.00 Staz 3 to paye 16.00 and so on.
Aster sak la route bis, so staz diferan. Diferans prix li consekan ant premye sanzman dan staz. Sa inn fer sa pu pa penaliz bann dimoun ki p zwayaz 1-2 bistop. Apre sa bann ogmentation par staz li swa 1 swa 2 roupie.

for eg i work in curepipe and live at coromandel
from curepipe if i have to stop at rh 1 pay 23rs. and if i go directly home 1 pay 24rs meaning only 1rs more !!!!
implying that the way from rh to coromandel cost me 1rs !!! and this same journey if i was to stop at rh and take up another bus to go to coromandel cost me 18rs !!!
how do they do it , i stil lhavent figured it out :s
