Wow…1st November 2009, again our anniversary..so quick… but we have learnt loads of things, have known each other so well…and without forgetting, the rate of fights also has increased a lot lol….agree yash? :P

Where to start…hmmm, ok..Let’s start, I won’t be long this time.I sms Yashvin at Midnite to wish him , but Mr Dooshiant was already asleep … :P DSCF2847

He came at my place at around 11 Hr yesterday morning and we went to Flic En Flac to celebrate our second anniversary. I baked a small chocolate cake(as shown in the pic above :P ), prepare salads, fried rice (non veg of course) and 2L fanta …Oh god, it was raining heavily there, so hot ..and we had to stay in car for lunch :S … but still romance was in the air lol…

Yashvin gave me a so beautiful rose and an IRiver music player as gifts…thanks dou…this action of urs, specially giving me a rose on our anniversary has really touched my heart… love u dou :)

DSCF2862

Then after lunch, meaning after having eaten large pieces of the cake and loads of fried rice, Yash decided to drink something “fort”…so…there we go…at Blacksteers in Flic en Flac, where Yash ordered a choco mousse for me and something…huh..I don’t know exactly what was its name for himself to drink. Maybe those who usually go at Blacksteers will know what he was drinking in the pic below lol… Rain had already stopped at that time and the weather at Flic was so cool :)

There are loads to say about a relationship…but what we have experienced for these 2 years are not enough…we are still knowing each other, still fighting, still loving each other more and more, and without forgetting, Yashvin has become more romantic :P … I don’t regret about my past now…as god has given me such a caring life partner who loves me so much. I do hope that we’ll stay together all the time, apart in the toilet lol. Even if there are so many ups and down in our life, we will remain faithful to each other and will not fight for silly things as we usually do.

Yash dropped me at home at around 19hr, tried the gift I gave him and went home after having eaten another plate of fried rice… lol

Special Note : Varsha, Neha and Deepa …hope you had liked the cake :P

Special thanks to my mum  who had helped me a lot in preparing our anniversary…her ideas, her fried rice ….for everything..love u mum…

Happy anniversary again dou… love u…

Again after some months, I finally got an article on which to write :P

This morning, I was coming at work in my uncle’s car, and was listening to Radio – Plus. There were some planters busy discussing about bats in Mauritius, meaning, the impact these animals have on our cultivations and economy, mainly in Summer ( including the mangoes and letchis seasons which are for soon :) )

Some seemed so worried as the bats were destroying their fruits at night and thus, they were not expecting much profit this year. They had asked the Ministry of Agriculture to do the necessary.

But as we all know, bats are protected animals in our country because they are unique and, can’t be harmed at all.

The use of nets

The planters had then been proposed to use nets to cover their plants….but what about the big trees? Will the nets be able to cover such plants? how much will this cost?

The discussion was then left pending as some of the planters did not agree at all to use such method of protection even if nets were given to them as gifts.

Other practices.

Another practice in Mauritius involves lighting the trees with bulbs so as to discourage the bats from coming closes. Some planters do not hesitate to make use of poison.

Aren’t they cute? lol

baby bats

To be short, what do you think is the best solution to this problem?

By the way, HAPPY DIVALI, MANZ GATO BIENNNNNNNNN

Port Louis, which is the Capital of Mauritius, consists of many buildings, people, vehicles, hawkers, shops, rats, broken pavements, restaurants, traffic, pigeons, crows…etc wow so many things.

But do we see dustbins in the streets of Port Louis?????

Today, Yashvin and I, were walking from Kaddy + (La Poudriere Street) to DCDM near Champ de Mars with 1 delight yoghurt in yash’s hand and 1 chocolate Flan in mine. After having eaten our desserts, we started looking for a dustbin.

Alas, we searched everywhere but instead of dustbins, there were only FLOWER POTS everywhere on the street!

image0031

Believe me, it is not the first time that we have been searching for dustbins in Port Louis and, I think you will all agree with me.

Hopefully, near Alpha College, there were 3 dustbins!

image010

Atleast some educational institutions are giving good examples by providing their own dustbins. This is only one example that I have stated, meaning La Poudriere Street, but there are many streets like this, without dustbins and waste can be found everywhere on those streets.
Very disgusting!
Another good example is the Caudan Waterfront.

We do have dustbins there but for what?

Only for publishing advertisements on them to beautify the environment and to make money out of them!

I do hope that actions are taken soon to place small dustbins everywhere to facilitate disposal of wastes and, to keep the environment clean instead of decorating our streets with flower pots !

Walking miles to see any such dustbins have become irritating and this is one of the main reasons why people throw plastic bags, papers, food …etc everywhere on the streets of Port Louis.
Almost every one of us says that Port Louis is always in a mess, but why is it in this state!

I do hope that actions are taken soon to place small dustbins everywhere to facilitate disposal of wastes and to keep the environment clean instead of decorating our streets with flower pots !

lol, finally found something to blog :P

Yesterday, while going back home, I was listening to top fm in a colleague’s car and heard that many road accidents occur due to people who don’t understand road signs lol..

For example, some accidents occur when pedestrians are crossing roads and cars continue accelerating or don’t stop to give way even after having seen the Pedestrian Cross Here sign.

cross-road

In some cases, it’s true that pedestrians just cross roads carelessly (Observed mainly in Port Louis).

Another example is, despite a no entry sign, people don’t pay attention and drive through not even thinking of the possible outcome.

noentry

So dear friends, my post today is based upon the road signs :P . No no, I’m not going to teach you about road signs tvr

So my question is

Do you think that drivers should go through another driving test after some 5 or 10years?

Nice weekend to all of u :)

Hi guys, been so long since I last posted an article on my blog, was a bit dormant as yash said lol.

map4

In fact, one saturday when yashvin was dropping me home, he just asked me where normally I take bus to go to Palma after work.

Later, he asked me an interesting question : ” Combien payer from this bus stop to palma?” meaning how much I pay from this bus stop to my destination!

The answer was ” Rs 14″.

A bit further he saw the bus stop at La Louise near the Taxi stand, which is not far from the Paloma Bus stop, hmmm, maybe 5 mins la marche or moins!

Yash asked me again ” Kifer to pa pran bus ici?”

The reason was due to the large number of passengers waiting and secondly because, I don’t like to stand in buses specially if I have laptop or anything else in hand. TVR, he again asked me how much it costs to take bus from la louise to palma?

The answer was Rs 8.

He was shocked..lol.

Y this Rs6 difference between these 2 bus stops?

Ok, you will say that the Bus stop at Paloma is in quatre bornes and zat of la louise bus stop is in palma road.

Nops, not really! Paloma and La louise is not far from each ozer, so y should we pay more?

Another example is, when u take bus to go qb and the same bus to go la louise…here the bus fare is the same..meaning Rs 24 in CNT buses and Rs29 in blue lines.

I just can’t understand the logic behind this!

Do you also face such cases in your locality? Or is this only in Qb?

Palma Humps back on the road again

Another news concerning the road going to Flic en Flac beach…meaning palma road to Flic, is that all the humps which were removed during the arrival of the chinese president were not replaced..meaning  only a few of them were found until now…

so aret plaigner now ki ena bocu obstacles dan chemin palma lol…specially twa yash :P

That’s all for today..back to work now :P

Thanks yash for z road map.

btw, the Mauritian population is still waiting for the bus fares to drop down… months since price of Diesel is going down!

Hope to see some bloggers tomorrow at Mac Do..cheerz !

Nice weekend to all of u :)

My first post on my new blog …yupieeeee( Merci yash for the domain name…)

jobfair12

First time I participated in a Job Fair, representing DCDM Consulting Ltd.

I was accompanied by the one and only Yashvin :P as nu ti mank un peu role lol kidding. So as planned, Yash had to pick me up at home (Palma) :P at 9hr so as to reach UOM at 9:30. Marvin, our Marketing Manager, was already zer, alone (truver combien dimun ti interesser ale represent dcdmc lol) sitting and ti p manz ongles :P

Yash n I  went roaming around to see which companies came for the fair. There were Orange, Accenture (which was beside us), TNT and many ozers. At 9:45 we started our journey and Marvin went home. At first there were no1 interested ki ti normal, but at 10:15, wow, zer was no fresh air for poor angels like yash n myself to breath. So many questions about qualifications required, salaries, interviews, the different platforms we use, the different job opportunities, hmmm, wat more….if trainees were allowed to work zer, enfin it was really nice to answer all zos questions (lerla mone realiser ki mo cone dcdm bien lol)

But what really annoyed both yashvin and myself was the fact that DCDM Consulting is a company managed by Accenture, and was just beside them for the job fair, people were thinking that we are actually “Accenture” people. Example, people who were interested to work at Accenture had to fill in a form and  Yashvin was given that opportunity to collect the papers lol… enfin, they thought that we were together and  were even filling the forms on our table :P At first it was funny, but then we were really annoyed.

But we were happy to meet our blogger “Chaya“…she recognised us at first sight..mai pa mwa n yash..she said she was chaya, but due to noise, we heard jaya lol

At noon, feeling hungry, we called another friend,  Shalini to confirm if she was coming to take over the presentation. fuf, hopefully, her husband, her sis in law and herself came and yashvin n myself got the opportunity to have lunch. aster pli comic, pena manzer dan cafetaria uom :P bizin marcher ale MIE ..finally we got pasta(spaghetti) which was miam miam…

We left UOM at 13hr and yash came at home for a lemon juice and “piment farci” :)

zats all, zistoire fini..ale dormi

1st day at work for this year

As we all know, most of us have been going at work today. After all those days of fun, shopping, merry making, good meals, drinks, exchange of gifts etc, it was really hard to get back to work.

I have reached office earlier today as for once there was less traffic jam :) zur in bien cumancer!
Roaming around the office, I tried to wish maximum people I know a happy new year. Then went in the lounge with yashvin for coffee and took maximum 20 mins as yash is always in a hurry to work lol
After that ….did I work today?Nops, not at all!
Staring at my laptop, I was dreaming…I’m not joking lol…fini arrive lannee 2015 …fini marier, fini gagne zenfant, belmer p tire manzer, p bizin leve boner….lol..joking…Most of us had a sleepy face and were not working at all.

Either they were looking at the pictures taken on the end of year party or they were chatting or they were gossiping or going to the toilet each 30 mins.
Only 1 person was working TVR…Mr Awootar!!!
It was the most boring day of my life, nothing to do, even internet stopped working for some hours…imagine ur life without internet…fouf
I tried to spend some hours looking at the rain outside and, by each time annoying yash on either skype or personally..pa ti ena lot option…pena meme ki1 pou amerder in office apart li lol
Enfin 17hr…and as usual I have a lift with a colleague at work,Tanusha who drops me at Qb.Pauvre mwa…she had to wait for her senior to go first to be able to move from her place…and finally we leaved office at 18:20..galouper sinon ti pou rate bus pou ale palma
and once u reach qb after 18:45, it’s very difficult to get bus to return home. Hopefully, I reach qb at 18:40 and got a bus.
As soon as I reach home, I had dinner and took a bath.

Zats it…my first day at work for the year 2009…BIEN KASS PAKET! Hope demain it won’t be like zis…Wish you loads of courage my friends …
For those I have missed ” Wish u a happy new year 2009 ”

My resolutions for this year :BIEN BIZIN 1 CAR
CHEERZZZZ

wow what a horrendous crime…

A doctor being “egorge” , meaning has his throat cut off…in his own medical cabinet at Rose Hill…Dr I.A Bahemia, aged 72 ans. It was noticed only when a patient went inside the cabinet and saw the doctor dead….”dokter in tomb en long dan so biro!!! ” with blood stains everywhere…as mentioned in the newspaper “Le Mauricien”.
Police is investigating and they have already identified 1 suspect of 30 years old.

Now …tell me what do you think about security and crime in Mauritius?Share your point of views, as I think we are more exposed to criminality nowadays.

Do you think that the government should introduce capital punishment for such offences?

Jab We Met

Lol

Started last year, on the hmm, 27.10.2007, when DCDM Consulting organized a company event “The Waterday” at Flic En Flac. Almost everyone was present there, including Yashvin and myself J haha sof mo ti rent midi dans place 8hr 30, as usual late in everything!
Oops, but first let me tell u how yashvin n mwa nu ti rent cam :P

Dhan : “Ayo apres chak 30 mins de travail mo bizin chat for max 10 mins”

“Hey to kpv donne mwa to msn add cumsa kpv chat!” this was what yash told me when we were in the lounge for the first time taking coffee together!

Funny as we had never talked to each other for max 3 months since Yashvin came DCDMC. lol mo ti p truv Yashvin someone tro tankil and that’s why, I didn’t make the first step to talk and also, he was the only one in office whom I was feeling so shy to talk with.

So we became friends through chat, sharing his opinions, telling me about his ex :P

D’apres l’orde li ti p cumance bat lakol sa lepok laem sa lol mwa ki ti aveugle pa ti p compran.

Ya, The Waterday, which was held I think 1 week after I had known Yash. There we became good friends. But we put a condition between us “Nu pa pou content nu camarade, juste pou reste bon camarade!!!

Each time we said that to each other but inside me (I can’t say for yash), I was already in love with him, without knowing it.

Yashvin wanted a treat from me meaning that on the 1st November 2007, I must take him to the cinema to watch “Jab We Met” because I got promotion. On the other side, he needed to treat me as he was a new comer (Silly but it was a good opportunity to know each other, cki mo ti penser!)

Then we both met dan nu baz near Air Mauritius building and made our way to please each other (pa par d”autre chose mai by treats. Movais l’esprit hein!!!)
We shared our past and I even cried while watching Jab We Met (ayo gagne honter) but yash was there as a support. It was just at that single minute that I realized that I loved him.

Maybe he felt the same..this I can’t say but he was adorable.

(Pa kozer pa tigit maquiller mo ti maquiller sa zur la lol and yashvin each time was telling me “ayo mo mama pu truv brilliant lor mwa la :P )

Then came the hard moment, when we had to get separated to go home after the movie. Figure tipti mo dire zot telman chagrin ki we had to meet again after 2 days on the 3rd November for another movie.

At that time, cinema ti p gagne la vie r nu haha

Days passed and we became closer, ups and down. So many fights (surtout les vendredis: P), so many tears, sa li pa content..sa mo pa content fuf…hard moments…but we are still together and will remain so coz I believe that opposite poles attract and that, it’s my destiny si mone gagne some1 ki pena cv lor so la tete hahaha

Today is a special day for us, both yashvin and myself… our 1st anniversary

That’s why I have taken this opportunity to share our small love story with you and make it memorable.

Two things I want to say today to the world.

Trust the one you love… coz I have hurt someone many times by not trusting him

&

I love you Yashvin, nops Dou!

I do hope that next year I will be blogging our 2nd anniversary yash. (or maybe our engagement si to reussi kpv ramasse un peu kass dan place to ale camper :P )

One of my biggest aim is to show the public the reality of our hospitals :S

Let me first tell you a small story…
Victoria Hospital(Candos, Mauritius), where everyday several cases come, several people die…but the real reason I thk I know it now….
My story started this year in March. My mum having pains in her belly, went to see a private doc(gyne)to know the causes of that pain and was told that she was suffering from a severe fibroid disease. She was given a request form that she must show in the hospital to be able to get operated as soon as possible. Therefore, I took her to Victoria Hospital…The doctor, without doing any checkups, told her to come for another appointment in 2 months as he was going on holidays…meaning in June, and also told her that nothing was serious as there was “1 fibrone” only. Mum, happy to hear that “nthg was serious”, returned home and continued to do her usual tasks. Everyday she had strange pains and bleeding continued for several weeks. After 2 months she went again for appointment with the same doc, he finally told her to get admitted the next month at 7hr in the morning so that she could be operated after 2 days. Everything prepared, mum went for her operation(stresser, afraid, nervous…). As we reach there on her admission day, we had to wait for max 2 hours to be attended as the nurses came at work at 9hr. Then we had to run here and there to know where her documents were as the NURSES didn’t know where her file was !!!
Angry, I took mum to her room…la salle…and I was “SHOCKED” to hear one of the nurses, in quite a relax tone, say to my mum to sit on a wooden chair as there was no bed available…meaning not before 15hr that day….n it was only 9.30 in the morning……I just requested the lady so that she can arrange a place(pli comfortable ki sa chair la) as mum was in pain…she said “Mamzel, li bizin atan mem si li dan douleur…taler si gagne place li va assizer bien bien meme”
Tears in mum’s eyes she told me to remain quiet and to return home…I did as she said but I was feeling bad …bad because I knew mum would suffer more on that chair…
She was given a bed at 14.45hr that afternoon….for lunch…THEY DIDN’T KNOW THAT SHE MUST EAT!!!! she was given some cold rice and salad when she asked them for food.
Finally after 2 days, she had to be operated…the night before her operation she was told not to eat(max 24hrs) and was given some medicines. Her doctor didn’t come to visit her at all those 3 days…god knows if he knew he had to do her operation!!!
On her operation day, they placed a “la sonne” with her in the morning. We were not told at wat time the operation would be performed. At 11hr, the assistant doc came and told my mum that “nu pa pou kpv faire ou operation akoz la salle operation en reparation!!!” and they sent her home

THIS IS PUBLIC SERVICE!!!!!

Finally, I took mum to Medisave and did her operation there….the Doc there told us that mum was in last stage and in a few days the “fibrones(8 in all)” would have turned into Cancer!!!

I HATE HOSPITALS NOW…
si ti zot fami sa zot ti pou resenti li plis sa ban docteurs la ek surtou sa ban nurses la…THEY ARE REALLY IGNORANT….and MONEY MINDED!!!!

Regret that I haven’t taken any pictures at that time to show u today….
